We are proud to announce that Gruppo Martelli S.p.A., the holding company that manages financial and administrative services for its subsidiaries Emme Gel srl and Frigo Gel srl, has obtained registration on Carbon Footprint Italy.
Emme Gel deals with the distribution of frozen products, mainly seafood, destined for the Italian and European markets. Frigo Gel manages the storage and integrated logistics of frozen goods for both Emme Gel and third-party customers, also handling transport through external partners.
The Group has always combined production ๐ฒ๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต ๐ฎ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐ถ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ผ ๐๐๐๐๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐๐. This is demonstrated by the implementation of a ๐๐๐ ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐, compliant with ๐๐ฆ๐ข ๐ญ๐ฐ๐ฌ๐ฒ๐ฐ-๐ญ, to monitor its emissions and reduce its climate impact.
Following an ๐ฎ๐๐ฑ๐ถ๐ ๐ฏ๐ ๐ฎ ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฑ ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐, DNV certified the company, allowing it to be registered on Carbon Footprint Italy and obtain the CFO (Carbon Footprint of Organisation) label.
