Starting from today, February 24th, 2025, the new website of CFIA, the international network born from the collaboration between several international Program Operators, is online. In addition to Carbon Footprint Italy, the following programs are part of this network: Korea Institute of Industrial Technology/IPEF (Korea), Programa Pais de Carbono Nautralidad - PPNC (Costa Rica), The Climate Registry (United States), Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO) (Thailand), Toitū Envirocare (New Zealand).
The new site was developed with the intention of creating a unique database, providing faster and more efficient access to information on the greenhouse gas (GHG) emission quantification results of products and organizations registered in the various programs. Currently, a section dedicated to data from the Carbon Footprint Italy and IPEF programs is already available. However, the goal is to gradually expand the database to include all registrations of CFIA programs, to make the site an increasingly comprehensive international reference.
A special thanks goes to Yo-Han Choi (KITECH/IPEF), Jorge Vargas Vargas (PPCN), Amy Holm (TCR), Pathom Chaiyapruksaton (TGO), and Belinda Mathers (Toitū) for their invaluable collaboration in creating this new platform. We are excited about this step, believing that transparency and effective reporting of results is a key element of our work.
